Mapping Uncertainty

Both performative and participatory, this work involves the creation of a very large print using wax and ink. Audience participation will be to help create the giant print. They will be involved during the 4 stages: 1) by using wax crayons to draw on the paper, 2) painting on the wax, 3) pushing the paper into a ball, then 4) painting on the ink. After which the print will be ironed flat.

'Mapping Uncertainty' is linked to the idea that as a species our future is uncertain, if we don't do something about the current situation. By talking about and finding solutions we are, in fact, trying to map this uncertainty.
